Texas Gov. Rick Perry has a theory about what caused the recent oil spill that’s still spreading throughout the Gulf of Mexico: It was “an act of God.”  While speaking at the Chamber of Commerce on Monday, Perry argued against further regulation of the oil industry and said that from time to time there are going to be things that occur that are acts of God that cannot be prevented.

A new poll from USA Today/Gallup found that 92 percent of Americans believe in a God and 83 percent believe that he answers prayers.

God seems to be on the side of the Insurance companies…perhaps they have better organized prayers.

Win By Quitting

Quitters never win, winners never quit.

Since losing the VP battle and quitting early in term as Alaska’s governor,

Sarah Palin and her brand have chalked up earnings in the 12 million range

according to CBS and ABC News reports.

Asked about Palin’s earnings, an aide told ABC News that she “is now a private citizen. As a result, her fees and earnings are private.”

If at first you don’t succeed, maybe you were meant to do something else…
