You notice a light bulb is out.
You:

a. Think about replacing it
b. Add ‘Change Lite Bulb’ to your To-Do list
c. Immediately replace the bulb

I’ve got a million of those…fill bird feeders, pull weeds, change furnace filter…
All can be accomplished in about two minutes…thanks to David Allen (GTD) for the 2 minute rule.
OK, now here’s where the fun starts…
Damn if I can decide what piddly task to do — so, more often that not, I delay doing any/all of them.
Now if my smarty-pants phone would just select a random 2-minute task for me to do, then it would be more like a game.
Or, better yet, to give procrastination a fair shake, make the App more like the Magic Eight Ball…tip the phone over a couple of times and watch the task float up in the murky screen…ah, I can see it…Try Again Later.
